We built this product on honesty — that includes how we handle your data.
Mycebo is operated from the United States and ships only within the United States. We collect the minimum information needed to build your ritual, deliver your bottle, and run the business. We do not sell your data.
What we collect
- Account info — your email, name, and authentication metadata, provided when you sign in via Clerk (Clerk privacy).
- Your intention phrase — the words you type when you build a bottle. We use this to generate your ritual site and print your label. We never sell it.
- Order info — shipping address (collected by Stripe at checkout) and order history. Payment details never touch our servers; they go directly to Stripe (Stripe privacy).
- Basic usage data — server logs (IP, user agent, request path) for security and debugging. No third-party analytics cookies at launch.
What we do with it
- Generate your personal ritual content (via Anthropic's Claude API — your intention phrase is sent to Anthropic; their privacy policy).
- Print your label and ship your bottle.
- Send order-related emails (receipts via Stripe, shipping updates from us).
- Operate the website and the personal ritual page at
/u/{username}/{slug}. - Maintain account history so you can re-order or view past rituals.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or data brokers. We do not show personalized ads.
Where it lives
Our database is hosted on Supabase (US region). Authentication is handled by Clerk. Payments are processed by Stripe. The website runs on Vercel. Email is sent via Resend (when wired). Each of these services has its own privacy practices, linked above where applicable.
Your choices
- You can request deletion of your account at any time by emailing hello@takemycebo.com. We will delete your user record and any unpurchased bottle prompts. Records tied to a paid order are retained for tax/legal reasons (typically 7 years for US tax records) but personal identifiers are nullified.
- You can request a copy of the data we hold on you by emailing the same address.
- You can sign out at any time via your account menu.
Age
Mycebo is for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We will update this page when our practices change and surface a note on the site for material changes. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
